keeping together is progress;
working together is success.”

- Patience and perseverance
- Courage to manage conflict and resistance
- Seeing, hearing, listening and communicating with integrity and in an adult to adult way
- Psychological literacy and understanding of unconscious group processes
- Ability to inhabit the team’s world
- Commitment to regular CPD and supervision
- Curiosity and warmth towards others
- Awareness of own biases and judgements
- Ability to think on his/her feet under pressure
- Tact and resilience to forge good working relationships with different members of the team and the organisation at large
- Gravitas, presence and credibility
