Michelle Kenyon Appointed as Barefoot MD

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Michelle Kenyon as Managing Director of Barefoot Coaching Ltd as of the 1st September 2019. Michelle will be taking over the position from Barefoot Coaching’s founder, Kim Morgan, who will now step into the role of CEO, focusing on the strategy, vision and direction of the business.

As Head of Business Operations for Barefoot over the last year and a half, Michelle has already proved instrumental in improving and systemising the business to prepare us for further growth.
Michelle is an accomplished business manager with a wealth of experience in developing internal systems and processes having spent the last eight and a half years within the health and wellbeing sector, where as the Operations Director she supported the company through a period of significant expansion. Michelle’s considerable business experience and leadership skills have already made a hugely positive impact on Barefoot Coaching. This appointment is an exciting milestone for us and will enable Barefoot to flourish, as Michelle and our growing team continue to offer our expertise in coaching and coach training for organisations and individuals.

During my time with Barefoot, it has been a rewarding and exciting experience to be a part of the team’s expansion and to support the business as it navigates through the changes required for further growth.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Kim Morgan MCC, who founded this business over 25 years ago, providing coaching, coaching services to organisations and accessible masters level coach training. Kim has built a strong brand and has instilled a culture of quality, fairness and transparency. I admire Kim as a businesswoman, a coach, an educator and as a personal mentor and I am extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to succeed her in the role of Managing Director.

There are so many talented individuals that make up our team at Barefoot HQ and also within our external network of associates. All of them have played a huge part in Barefoot’s success so far and we cannot thank them all enough. We are looking forward to growing together with you all.

I wanted to be exposed to a broad range of coaching ideas, to have plenty of time to practice coaching and receive feedback and to meet like minded people who shared my passion. I was not disappointed. I loved every minute of the modules and was sad when the programme finally came to an end. Our cohort has been amazing and we continue to engage with each other via webinars and get togethers organised by ourselves. At no point in the process did I have any feeling that Barefoot was interested in selling places on this or other programmes. It was all about getting a good fit between you as a coach and their offerings. Great people. Very professionally run. Great materials. A good range of tutors from different backgrounds.
