Created and led by Kim Morgan MCC, Coach, Supervisor, Author, Speaker, Certified Grief Educator, Grief Recovery Specialist and founder of Barefoot Coaching.

This course is designed to deepen your understanding of how these experiences affect us – and how you can support others through them with empathy and skill.

While there’s no one-size-fits-all toolkit for grief, you’ll explore a range of theories, models, and frameworks that will shape and inform your approach as a grief coach. More than anything, this is about learning how to be fully present—to witness, listen, and companion someone through their grief with care, compassion, and curiosity.

Throughout the programme, you’ll engage in hands-on practice in pairs and triads, applying the skills and approaches you’re learning in real time. It’s an immersive, supportive environment where growth happens not just intellectually, but emotionally and relationally.

Whether you’re supporting others professionally or personally, this course will help you develop the confidence and sensitivity to be a steady, grounded presence in the face of life’s most human experiences.

This programme also features guest speakers who are specialists in grief, each bringing unique insights from diverse backgrounds and professions. Their perspectives will enrich your learning, offering a well-rounded, in-depth understanding of grief, loss, and change in its many forms.

Coaching Qualifications: PGCert in Business and Personal Coaching, Diploma in Team Coaching Mastery, PG Cert in Coaching Supervision.

Coaching Supervision Approach: I am passionate about coaching and its power to support change through improved motivation, greater insight of self and the development of new strategies. I build strong, equal relationships with my clients providing the conditions to create a safe, trusted and supportive environment which enables me to ask challenging questions to stimulate change. Without these conditions, I know that real change isn’t possible. I’m a thinking buddy, who offers a different perspective, encourages clients to experiment and examine data to supports greater clarity and change. I fundamentally believe that coaching is such a powerful intervention that it should be available to all. I also utilise my understanding of neuroscience and mental health to intensify the potency of coaching.
